Easter camp in London - Friday 22nd to Monday 25th April 2011
What a fantastic weekend - the weather couldn't have been better!
The journey over to London was fine - mainly because we were going against the traffic. We stopped off in Swindon for a swim and lunch before heading for the site - Tolmers in Hertfordshire.
It was an early start on Saturday to get the train into London. After a quick breakfast of bacon rolls, we walked to Cuffley station to travel to Kings Cross.
We managed most of the sights starting in the City of London and working our way to the West End. We checked out the locations for the Royal Wedding and did some shopping on Oxford Street. See if you can work out our route from the photos!
The next day was just as good and after a slower start we tackled the local lake on our own rafts. Some were more successful that others! The first 12 photos show the "before", "after" and "owners" of each raft.
Then there was time for some target practice before dinner.
Monday morning was relaxed as we tidied up played some games and had lunch before packing the van and travelling home.
Thanks to all the Explorers for such a great weekend.
