Adult Volunteer Learning
All our adults can take advantage of the training course that are free of charge to out adult volunteers. Whether you are working towards your Wood Badge [optional] or simply refreshing your learning, there is something for everyone.

Getting Started
If you are a new volunteer joining us we want to give you the skills to ensure you succeed and keep both you and our young people safe. Therefore there are some key modules you may need to complete in the getting started stage depending on your role, these need to be done within 5 months of joining us. If you aren’t sure which you need to complete speak to your training adviser or your group scout leader. You can complete all these modules online, should you not be able to speak to your line manager or training adviser.

Mandatory Ongoing learning
Some training including Safety and Safeguarding, requires ‘re-validation’ after certain periods of time – if unsure just redo the training below – it does not take that long, both together can be done in 1.5hrs maximum. NB: Completion is automatically logged against your membership details.
