Rebate Scheme for young people attending events organised by Woodhouse Park Activity Centre 2023-24
At its meeting of 4th September 2023 the District Trustees agreed to make retrospective subsidies to groups/units attending events at WHP 2023-24. The events covered by this scheme are listed below. Any event after June 2024 is not covered by this scheme.
However, at its meeting of 20th February 2024 it was decided to extend this until 31st March 2025. Details of the additional events this covers will be posted near the bottom of this page by mid March 2024.
NB: The rebate scheme does not cover the ‘Birthday Party‘ packages being offered at Woodhouse Park.

NB: This scheme does not cover any associated additional costs over and above the events below e.g. extra costs for extended sessions. Neither does it cover camping, food, transport or similar costs.
Easter Trail 23/24 Mar 2024 – a few hours each day

Fiesta 24 – 14/16 Jun 2024
£40pyp – £5 rebate NB: Event price increases on 30th April 2024, rebate remains the same amount.
Cub Adventure Day – 7 Sept 2024
£25pyp – £5 rebate [cubs only]
Beaver Adventure Day – 21 Sept 2024
£25pyp = £5 rebate [beavers only]
Picnic In The Park – 22 Sept 2024
£15pyp = £5 rebate [Squirrels only]
JOTI/JOTA – 18/20 Oct 2024
£15 – £5 rebate [older cubs, scouts, explorers]
Spooktacular – 18/20 Oct 2024 – afternoon and evening
£20pyp – £5 rebate [older cubs, scouts, younger explorers]
Woodhouse Weekender – 22/24 Nov 2024
£35pyp – £5 rebate [explorers only]
Santa Trail – 6/8 Dec 2024
£7.50pyp – £2.50 rebate

Any new events at WHP after ‘Santa Trail 2024’ will be considered for subsidy by The Trustees at a later date. [see note at top of page].

To claim, please send a copy of the booking pdf and e-receipt from WHP to contact@bristolsouthscouts.org.uk after the event.
The rebate will be paid to groups/units shortly afterwards.
