District Leader’s Day

Venue: The Lovell Centre – Woodhouse Park

10:00 to Noon
Mandatory Safeguarding Training for GLVs [GSLs], ESLs, Group Safeguarding Leads & District Team ONLY
A live session organised and delivered by Androulla Nicolaou of Avon & Somerset Constabulary’s Child Sexual & Criminal Exploitation Team. The County Lead Volunteer [ex CC] will also be in attendance.

Noon to 15:00
All Volunteers/Leaders within the district are invited to attend from noon onwards
**Noon to 13:00 – Friendship Lunch – district ASU will provide – please contact dave.milton31@hotmail.com with numbers attending and if you have special dietary requirements
**13:00 to 13:30 Short Sectional Meetings for squirrels/beavers, cubs, scouts, explorers.
**13:30 to 15:00 Activity Fun Time! Come and have a go at ‘create stacking’ and ‘axe throwing’ (possibly others)
or just network or have a natter with other leaders.

NB: The Woodhouse Park team have offered to run a creche for the children of leader’s/Volunteers attending both the morning and afternoon sessions. If you wish to book this service you must contact andy.scully@avonscouts.org.uk before close of business on Wednesday 8th Nov.
